Rise Up Ye Men of God

Twelve moms came to have their babies killed.
Three changed their minds.
Two turned away.
Seven precious little ones were left to die.

Seventeen pro-lifers were there praying and taking a public stand against the slaughter of innocent children created in the image of God. Five "deathscorts". No clergy present. One African American mom changed her mind because the ultrasound showed she was having twins. This is a common occurrence that I do not understand. If its one baby its ok to kill it but if its twins its not?? I just do not get this?? The other couple that changed their mind was a Hispanic couple that walked in from the Subway side. I talked to them and the woman rushed in ..the man talked to me and took the info, he did not want the abortion, I told him to try to talk her out of it and show her the literature, praise the Lord! they changed their minds. The third couple that changed their minds drove out and told us they changed their minds. God is so faithful to perform mighty miracles.

CT abortion mill witnessWe see that Rachel's sadness turns to joy in Jeremiah 31:15. There was a cry of anguish in Ramah -- mourning and weeping unrestrained. Rachel was the symbolic mother of the northern tribes that were taken into captivity. This verse is quoted in Matthew 2:18 to describe the sadness of the moms in Bethlehem as the male children were killed. The weeping was great in both cases. Just as it is now as we weep for the 45 million babies killed in our country since 1973. Three to four thousand killed daily.

But the Lord said not to weep any longer. Their children would come back from the distant enemy. God said there is hope for our future. Israel said "you disciplined me severely, but I deserved it. Turn me again to you, restore me, for you alone are the Lord my God. I turned away from God, but then I was sorry, I was thoroughly ashamed of what I did in my younger days."  We have to claim this promise for the lost children of our present society. We pray that they will return to God their Creator.

So please join us as we preach the Gospel of life on the streets of Bridgeport . We are there every Tuesday and Friday 7:30am-10am. We reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. If not now, then when? If not us, then who?

For the least of these,
